Ric has an MA in language teaching. He is a teacher and examiner of English for Academic Purposes. He has been learning BSL for 8 years. He also runs the Only in Brighton walking tour.
John has been profoundly deaf from birth and is a sign language user. As a teenager, he won BBC Young Reporter of the Year after his successful campaign to bring subtitling to BBC Newsround. He is a qualified deaf awareness tutor.
